Right at home from the very moment we arrived. It was a good experience with amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for exploring the Peak District. The breakfast options were plentiful, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our hosts. A wonderful stay!

    tasty breakfast
    dust on furnishings

The hosts provided a good and plentiful breakfast with locally sourced ingredients, making each morning special.

Occasionally, there were some dust particles on the headboards, which could be an issue for those with allergies.

    charming setting
    uncomfortable check-in

Charming historical setting with beautiful countryside views.

Upon arrival, we were informed we had booked a twin room instead of a double. Although the owners did eventually accommodate our request, the situation left us feeling uncomfortable during the check-in process.

    cute hosts
    delicious breakfast
    comfortable room
    dust accumulation

Innisfree Cottage impressed me right from the start. The hosts were cute and made check-in easy. I stayed in the Beautiful Double or Twin Room with Garden View, cozy, with a comfy king-size bed. Plenty of tea and coffee supplies were provided. The breakfast was a highlight-plentiful and beautifully cooked with local ingredients. I especially enjoyed the full English breakfast. Eyam village offered a charming atmosphere with local shops and pubs within walking distance, like The Miners Arms for a great evening meal. One small downside, I noticed some dust on the headboards. Given my partner's asthma, this was a bit concerning, but it didn't overshadow the overall cleanliness and comfort of the room. The noise levels were nice and low in the evenings, great for a restful night's sleep. Despite minor issues, it was a nice stay, and I'd eagerly return.

We loved everything about our stay! The room was good, complete with flowers on the windowsill and tasty chocolate treats. The shower was nice, albeit snug. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked, with a lovely variety of fruit. Such a treat!

    charming village
    great hospitality
    bit of dust
    furnishings cleanliness

Eyam is such a charming village, and at Innisfree Cottage, the hospitality was great. With good views from the spacious room and a breakfast menu offering various choices, it felt like a home away from home. The only downside, however, was a bit of dust on the furnishings.
